December 2:
3 Ne. 12:16. 16Therefore let your light so shine before this people, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Jesus asked us to be examples to those around us. Set an example of service by helping with the dishes or cleaning or other chores at home.
Service is a great way of showing people you care. I love the feeling I get when I serve others, and I know they are blessed as much as I am. I think it is important to not only serve but to let others serve you. If you don't you may be denying them of blessings.
